The Minnesota AFL-CIO announced its first round of endorsements for the 2016 election cycle, today. The Minnesota AFL-CIO’s General Board, consisting of representatives of affiliate unions throughout the state, unanimously approved these endorsements.
“The Minnesota AFL-CIO endorsement is not given lightly,” said Minnesota AFL-CIO President Bill McCarthy. “Any candidate who receives our endorsement has demonstrated a commitment to pursuing policies that will improve the lives of all working people.”
For US House, the Minnesota AFL-CIO has endorsed Angie Craig in the second congressional district and Representative Rick Nolan in the eighth district.
